MD offered by UK Universities

Most UK universities that run medical school offer the degree of MD in Medicine.

However, all other universities offer an entirely research based MD degree.  University of Buckingham is the only British university that offers taught, clinically based MD degrees.  These innovative Clinical MDs are the only such postgraduate structured programmes in Britain that offer comprehensive training in all aspects of General Internal Medicine at university level.

Candidates who want a combined research and clinical experience may find the University of Buckingham one year research followed by 2 years of Clinical MD particularly appealing.
